  • Not ideal for multiple vaulting poles. Vibration can be an issue.

Worked OK for one pole. When I put 4 on there with no bag there was a big problem with vibration noise, which of course, raises questions about stability at high speeds.I only took it to 50MPH. Noise can be minimized by balancing the load-having as much pole in front of the rack as in back, and by tightening the straps and making sure they don't twist. I do think they are reasonably secure and it is unlikely to come off completely, If you are traveling a short distance at moderate speed with shorter poles it should work fine. If you are an elite vaulter toting 4 or 5 16' poles probably not a good choice. I am looking for something else-and am not an elite vaulter.

  • Need for sub-compact car.

Works great! I needed something to carry poles on a Honda Fit. No problems at 75 MPH.

  • No complaints here!
