ABOUT Pole Vault Sticky Grip Tape: 
  • Every vaulter and vault coach should carry this in their bag with them. 
  • Cotton Cloth substrate coated on both sides with an aggressive Synthetic Rubber Adhesive 
  • It is sticky on both sides, 25 yard roll, that is 1 1/2" wide. 
  • White with white adhesive and brown siliconized paper release liner. Instant tack on rough or fibrous surfaces. 
  • Tensile: 14 lbs/inch. Elongation: 4% - Temp. Resistance: -10°F to 158°F.

      I have used different type of grip for my pole. Mostly spray on. I bought the Sticky Tape and have used it twice now. It is great!! I know I am a old fart pole vaulter but my hands don't slide and that is what I wanted. Yes I will buy it again. Little high in price and very hard to get off your pole?

      We have a bunch of poles with a larger diameter. This helps with grip especially with the petite girls on the team.
