  • Although all hammers come with a handle and a wire, sometimes throwers need a replacement handle, or simply prefer the feel of another handle.  
  • This handle is made of aluminum and is slightly curved.  
  • Keep in mind that changing a handle on a hammer, MAY require you to use a different wire tool to remain “legal” at meets. You need to maintain a “legal” length from bottom of ball to the inside grip of the handle.  
  • Throwing implements are not warrantied due to the nature of the event.

      I purchased these handles to make "grass friendly" 12lb throwing chains and balls for training high school athletes. The grips are great high quality aluminum. The handles arrived in 2 days! I already purchased a second set.

      This handle makes a huge difference in the feel of the hammer, and is definitely worth the price. The metal has much more grip than a regular handle, and it’s just the right width. It also has smooth edges to prevent digging into your fingers.
