ABOUT First Place Men's Javelins:
  • The First Place brand is always the best quality at an affordable price, since First Place is the Everything Track and Field signature brand. 
  • First Place are durable javelins that fly "true." 
  • Beginning throwers start out with the lowest range javelins, as the lowest range rated javelins are more forgiving to new throwers who haven't developed great form, speed or skill yet. 
  • As your form, speed and skill improve, move up to a higher range rated javelin, since they are stiffer and will work better with a skilled an experienced thrower. 
  • High School Boys, College Men, and Men to age 49 throw the 800 gram javelin. 
  • Note that most High Schools in states of NJ, ND, WA, and AL are required to throw a rubber tipped javelin, not these regular tipped javelins. 
  • Please note: Colors may vary.

    • Throwing implements are not covered under warranty due to the nature of the event.
