  • Machined perfectly round, and since brass is so dense, these shots are great for those who prefer the small diameter of brass.
  • Throw them in practice and in competition meets.
  • Since brass is a soft alloy, these shots are much more likely to “ding” than the cast iron shots.
  • Throwing implements are not warranted due to the nature of the event.

    First Place Brass Shot Put Sizes Available:
    · 4kg (95mm) for Girls and Women up to age 49, and for Men 70-79
    · 12 lb. (103mm) for High School Boys
    · 16 lb. (110mm) for Men up to age 49

      My female throwers perfect the smaller diameter shots. These seem to be a great fit for our program.
